Your date, time and place of birth. That is all it takes, and it is already a lot: four minutes can change your whole sky.
We replay the sky exactly as it stood at your birth. Ten planets, twelve houses, the angles between them. Your geography of the stars.
Every position is read against the others, never alone. Venus in Aries does not say what Venus in Pisces says. That crossing is what makes you singular.
Those readings become a text. Written, reread, held by a real hand. Nothing copied, nothing pasted: your copy exists only once.
One hundred and sixty pages, laid out with care, printed and bound. Your name on the spine. There will not be two like yours.
A birth chart is simply a photo of the sky at the exact moment you took your first breath: where the Sun, the Moon and every planet stood, seen from your birthplace. The sky never stops turning, so that photo can only be taken once. Not even someone born the same day, in the same city, holds quite the same one.
Shift your birth time by just a few minutes and the whole backdrop of the sky moves. Your chart is frozen to the minute you arrived in the world.
Seen from Paris or from Tokyo, the same sky sits at a different tilt. Where you were born angles the entire map, a point of view that is yours alone.
Ten planets, twelve signs, twelve houses: the number of possible arrangements is staggering. Yours had, quite literally, never come up before, and won't repeat.
Monologue began with a simple discomfort. Horoscopes speak to everyone, so they speak to no one. We wanted the opposite: a book that speaks only to the person who opens it, and dares to go deeper than one line per sign.
So we took astrology back as a language, not an oracle. A whole chart, read and cross-referenced, written by hand. Long when it needs to be, light when it can be, never preachy. The book we would have loved to receive, without knowing it existed.
Every copy is printed to order, in a small workshop in the north of France. Nothing is made in advance. No stock gathering dust, no unsold copies to throw away, no cargo crossing the planet. We print your book because you asked for it, and for that reason alone.
Your copy is composed from your chart, proofread, and laid out with your first name on the spine.
One by one, at our printer in northern France. Never on the other side of the world, never in bulk.
Wrapped by hand and posted. About ten days, the time it takes to do it well.
"It's slower. It's on purpose."
We're often asked
Monologue treats astrology as a language of self-knowledge, not an oracle. We don't predict your future: we read your birth chart to shed light on how you function, love and decide. What you do with it is up to you.
No. Many of our readers are curious, not convinced. The book never asks you to believe anything. It offers a reading and leaves you to judge.
Fully personalized. Each book is written from your exact date, time and place of birth: your 10 planets, your 12 houses, your aspects. No two copies are alike.
You can still order. Without an exact time, your rising sign and houses can't be calculated with certainty, and we adapt the book accordingly. The time is often on your full birth certificate.
An app sends short, often generic notifications. Monologue is a 160-page book, written, edited and printed, made to last. Where an app summarizes, the book unfolds. It's an object, not a feed.
It's one of the most common ways our readers use it: a gift with the person's name on it, written for them alone. You'll simply need their date, time and place of birth.
A pre-reading journaling section, a clear introduction to astrology, the analysis of your 10 planets, chapters on your love life, professional life, inner world and relationships, then a manifestation guide. 160 pages in all.
The text is written and edited by hand, from your exact chart. Astrology is a reading, not a copy-paste: that writing is what makes each copy unique.
Both exist. The printed edition is bound and delivered to you; the digital edition arrives by email as a high-resolution PDF. Same content, personalized the same way.
Since each book is printed to order, allow around ten days for the physical edition. The PDF is sent within three business days.
Your data is used only to create your book. It is never sold or used for anything else. Our privacy policy spells it all out.
Because each copy is made for one person, a personalized book can't be returned once it's in production. If there's a printing or delivery problem, we replace it, of course. Just write to us.
Not here. Monologue describes dynamics, not destiny. It illuminates who you are, not what will happen to you.
Yes. Monologue exists in French and English. You choose the language of your copy when you order.
